For the 2026-27 year, loans are $750 and grants are $600 and require contribution from the teacher's school. Students can apply for both if eligible. Details are available here.

The deadline to apply is June 1, 2026.

The Beck Scholarship: Rising Teachers Fund
announced by AWSNA and WECAN

We’re excited to share a new three-year pilot program (2026–2029) designed to support aspiring Waldorf teachers in AWSNA and/or WECAN member schools and early childhood programs. The Beck Scholarship, Rising Teachers Fund, offers a combination of grants and forgivable loans to help candidates pursue their teacher training while working in school settings.

  • The scholarship is designed for those wishing to complete their teacher training while working part-time or assisting in an AWSNA and/or WECAN member school or early childhood program. The program combines financial aid, school-based employment, and mentorship to help candidates thrive in both study and practice.

  • Sixteen scholarships are available for participants enrolling in early childhood, grades, or high school certificate programs at AWSNA and/or WECAN Full Member Institutes.
