The future of humanity depends on children receiving health-giving experiences in childhood, on children being allowed to experience loving guidance that will, in turn, bring joy, wonder, and reverence, and promote healthy development in children’s lives. And yet, the most essential aspect of Waldorf education is the educator's inner attitude, which the child imitates.

Sophia’s Hearth has created a series of classes that offer a thoughtful introduction to the birth-to-seven foundations of Waldorf Education. Topics include Anthroposophy, fine motor development, parent work, the reflexes, and the Pedagogical Law.

Participants may choose between two artistic experiences based on their interests and needs: circle work for mixed-age kindergarten or handwork focused on creating seasonal nature table crafts.

This week is for people interested in learning more about Waldorf Early Childhood Education - Parents, Teachers. Assistant Teachers, Nannies and will include lectures, experiential activities, conversations, and small group discussions.
