Kris Hughes

Kristin Hughes has been steeped in Waldorf education. She attended Waldorf school K-12 and has been passionate about teaching in early childhood classrooms for over 25 years. Within that time she has directed her own program, co-pioneered the first Lifeways program to he within a Waldorf school, as well as lead many a kindergarten and nursery classes. 


She is a Simplicity Parenting Family Life Coach and the host of the podcast, Joyfull Parenting. She has 4 biological children but has helped to raise 7 in her busy blended family. She is devoted to creating programs that meet the needs of the young child while using the lens of anthroposophy and the principles set forth by Rudolf Steiner to help guide her work. 


When she is not in the classroom she delights in the little things in life, taking care of herself, her children and her furry friends, spending time with her family and friends and tending to her home and garden here in southern New Hampshire.
