Are you seeking care for your child between 3 months and 3 years? Sophia’s Hearth focuses specifically on this very special time for children in the earliest stages of development. Our care brings a rhythmic, homelike environment with plenty of time outdoors, ample time for play, and healthy, natural meals and snacks.

Sophia’s Hearth is internationally recognized for its unique approach to early childhood care. The program is informed by Waldorf education and the practices developed by Dr. Emmi Pikler. The program is closely affiliated with the Teacher Education Center at Sophia’s Hearth, acting as a place where the highest standards of teaching are lived out.

Our teachers are especially qualified to support your family and care for your child. As a teacher education center, your family has a special advantage! Our teachers are always studying child development, curriculum, and many other themes that strengthen their work with your child. Read about their backgrounds and preparation to care for your child.
Tuition Rates
Tuition rates include locally sourced, organic meals, natural and non-toxic materials, sunscreen and bug spray. We accept both NH and VT tuition assistance.
